Patients can submit their own scans by internet and in many countries we feature scanning centres which can provide these in the required digital format.   Some also offer open MRI for larger or claustrophobic patients.  Open MRI also allows a greater range of positions to be imaged, which can avoid the need for exploratory surgery.

In medical oncology chemotherapy as well as hormonal or immunotherapies are used.  In order to minimise side effects more effectively regular specialist examinations during and immediately after therapy are essential.
