The Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat) under its internationally renowned Chairman, Prof Wolf Mann offers laser, microscopic and computer assisted surgery with intraoperative monitoring of patient nerve function and attracts many international patients.

The Voice Clinic at UKE (Department of Voice, Speech and Hearing Disorders) specialises in diagnosis and treatment of all voice disorders. The medical team are dedicated otolaryngologists and phoniatricians (speech-language pathology and medicine), subspecialising in laryngology, phonosurgery and disorders of professional voice users.
